Interior PDFs are exported in KDP’s bleed format — every page is your trim size plus 0.125" on the top, bottom, and outer edge — so choose "Bleed (PDF only)" when you upload; KDP rejects the file under No Bleed. Artwork sits inside KDP’s safe area, with the binding-side gutter widened automatically for your page count. Cover wraps are spine-aware and include the required 0.125" bleed (front + spine + back sized to your trim and page count). Images are rendered at 300 DPI for print.
